He completed a Bachelor of Human Kinetics (Honours Movement Science) from the University of Windsor, Canada in 2002. Adam is a fully qualified Active Release Technique (ART) provider certified in Upper, Lower and Spine protocols.

ART is a very effective myofasical release technique that works on soft tissues of the body to restore strength, flexibility and function. Adam has sought further qualifications in dry needling, spinal rehabilitation, kinesiotaping, foot biomechanics, running biomechanics, as well as further ART courses. Adam specialises in low back pain, soft tissue injuries, and functional rehabilitation.

Growing up Adam played many sports: ice hockey, volleyball, soccer, tennis, basketball, swimming, alpine skiing, cross-country running, and athletics. However, Adam eventually decided to focus on one sport in which he excelled: athletics. Adam competed as a multi-event track and field athlete for ten years. During this time Adam represented Canada as a junior in the decathlon (10 track and field events done over two days), was provincial interuniversity champion in the pentathlon, and was 5th at the Canadian interuniversity Sports Championships while competing for the University of Windsor. Adam’s diverse sporting background has provided him with a unique understanding of the level of commitment and the demands athletes place on their bodies.

Adam is an executive board member of COCA (Chiropractic and Osteopathic College of Australasia) which is the second largest chiropractic association in Australia. Adam is the co-author of a self-help book on back pain titled: ‘Back Pain: How to build core stability for long-lasting relief’, which was published by Allen & Unwin and is available in all fine bookstores and online.
